В Христе одном надежда есть

Вся моя жизнь и сила в Нём

In Christ alone my hope is found,
He is my light, my strength, my song;

 

Он - Камень мой, скала и песнь

Надёжный спутник в страшный шторм

This Cornerstone, this solid Ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.

 

Как высока любовь Его

Как мир глубок, как с Ним легко

What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
 

 

Мой Утешитель - Всё во всём

Моя опора только в Нём

My Comforter, my All in All,
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

 

 

В Христе одном, принявшем плоть

Открылся всемогущий Бог

In Christ alone! – who took on flesh,
Fullness of God in helpless babe.
 

 

Но дар любви, что дал Господь

Отверг народ, избрав порок.

This gift of love and righteousness,
Scorned by the ones He came to save:
 

 

Он на кресте Себя отдал,

В смиренье гнев Отца принял

Till on that cross as Jesus died,
The wrath of God was satisfied –
 

 

Мой грех на плечи возложил

Чтобы Его я смертью жил

For every sin on Him was laid;
Here in the death of Christ I live.

 

 

В земле, как все, Он мёртвым был

Объят был тьмою свет небес

There in the ground His body lay,
Light of the world by darkness slain:
 

 

Но в третий день Он победил

Из гроба мрачного воскрес

Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave He rose again!

 

 

Он Бог и победитель всех,

Уже не правит больше грех

And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me,
 

 

 

Навеки Он хозяин мой

Я куплен кровию святой

For I am His and He is mine –
Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

 

 

Нет страха смерти, нет вины

Всё только силою Христа

No guilt in life, no fear in death,
This is the power of Christ in me;
 

 

От первых дней, до седины

До смерти, в нём моя судьба

From life’s first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.

 

 

Нет никого и ничего,

Что вырвет из руки Его

No power of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand:
 

 

Он приведёт меня в Свой дом

Моя опора только в Нём

Till He returns or calls me home,
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand.
